The Children’s Services Fund of Clay County provides financial support to organizations promoting the mental and social-emotional health of children in Clay County, Missouri.
Grant Focus: Organizations that offer services protecting the well-being and safety of children 19 years of age or younger residing in Clay County, Missouri.
Eligibility Requirements: Organizations that provide services that may include counseling, family support, temporary residential services, and other services set out in RSMo 210.861.

The Kansas City, Missouri, Branch of the American Association of University Women promotes education and scholarships for women. The mission of the Wagy Fund is to further the mission of AAUW and to honor Irene Wagy.
Grant Focus: Organizations that promote societal change through programs benefiting women and girls in Kansas City, Missouri.
Eligibility Requirements: Proposals from organizations in Clay, Platte and Jackson Counties in Missouri and Wyandotte and Johnson Counties in Kansas are accepted if the project primarily benefits Kansas City, Missouri women and girls; however, preference is given to those organizations that are also headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Black Community Fund provides support and leadership to enhance socio-economic aspects of African American communities in the Greater Kansas City area.
Grant Focus: Black-led, Black-serving organizations in Kansas City.

Developmental Disability Services of Jackson County – eitas is a political subdivision of the Jackson County, Missouri government, primarily funded through a property tax.
Grant Focus: Organizations that provide support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities within Jackson County, Missouri.
Eligibility Requirements: Grants are made to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that support individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in Jackson County, Missouri, with the following key priorities:

The Homelessness Trust Fund serves as an endowment for assistance to homeless individuals and those in danger of becoming homeless.
Grant Focus: Organizations that provide assistance to homeless persons or those at imminent risk of becoming homeless and offer services to this population on a regular basis.
Eligibility Requirements: Grants are made to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations whose mission statement focuses on assisting individuals experiencing homelessness or those at imminent risk of becoming homeless. Organizations must distribute assistance to eligible individuals residing in Kansas City, Missouri, and/or Jackson County, Missouri. Organizations must use and report through a shared data reporting system.

The Hunt Family Foundation is committed to making a positive impact on those in need in the communities where we live and work through philanthropy, programming and volunteerism. In 2026, the Kansas City Chiefs will select one organization to have the opportunity to be the beneficiary of the Chiefs Charity Game for 2027.
Grant Focus: The Chiefs Charity Game represents a unique opportunity for the selected organization to partner with the Kansas City Chiefs on a large-scale fundraising event.
Eligibility Requirements: 501(c)(3) organizations that must be based in or primarily serve the five-county Kansas City metro area, with a commitment to serving children and families in crisis. Applicants must demonstrate the capacity to carry out the Chiefs Charity Game by dedicating a development staff member to manage planning and fundraising and securing one to two chairpersons to lead sales efforts.

The Northland Community Foundation seeks to improve the quality of life in the Northland by increasing charitable giving, connecting donors to community needs they care about and providing leadership on critical community issues.
Northland Community Foundation – 2025 Focus Opportunity
Grant Focus: Organizations that have experienced cuts in federal funding.
Eligibility Requirements: Grants will be made only to organizations located in Clay or Platte Counties in Missouri that have lost federal funding due to one of the following:

Grant Focus: Smaller organizations, defined as those that have annual revenue less than $300,000, that may not receive funding because of their size or name recognition.
Eligibility Requirements: Grants will be made only to organizations located in Clay or Platte Counties in Missouri.

The Unified Government Hollywood Casino Fund strives to improve the health of Wyandotte County, Kansas, community members. The selection committee is seeking applications that demonstrate cultural relevance, address opportunities to increase knowledge and improve the food environment or support active living through utilization of Wyandotte County’s environmental infrastructure.
Grant Focus: Initiatives fostering healthy eating and active lifestyles within the Wyandotte County community.
Eligibility Requirements: Grants are only made to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations whose clients/beneficiaries are residents of Wyandotte County, Kansas. Grantees will be required to report zip code data for program or service participants.

The Mary Elizabeth Martin Scholarship Trust works to make post-secondary education more affordable through its grantmaking.
Grant Focus: Funds may be used for charitable or educational purposes, which may include scholarships, tuition assistance for higher education, and access to education-related programs, materials, and resources that enhance learning and personal development.
Eligibility Requirements: Organizations that can use the grant for charitable or educational purposes, such as providing scholarships to assist students in obtaining a college or university education.
