National Expert in Family Giving Featured in Upcoming Events Series

Later this month, Sharna Goldseker, a nationally recognized expert in multigenerational engagement, will lead several interactive sessions about how different generations approach their wealth and their philanthropy. Sharna Goldseker is the executive director of 21/64, an organization serving philanthropic and family enterprises across the country. The Greater Kansas City Community Foundation staff has worked closely with Sharna and her team to better serve our donors, their families and our professional advisors.

Whether you’re a family looking to define your philanthropic goals or an advisor guiding charitably inclined clients, Sharna’s presentations will offer something for everyone.

For Professional Advisors
Sharna will guide professional advisors in an interactive exercise that profiles each generation and how they approach their assets and decision-making with different lenses. Attendees will leave with tips and tools to bring back to their office that will deepen their conversations with clients and their clients’ next generations. This event is open to wealth managers, financial planners, accountants, attorneys and other professional advisors who serve charitable clients.

For Community Foundation Donors
Sharna will lead attendees on a journey to picture their legacy, whether it be business, philanthropy or life. Attendees will leave with a clear philanthropic vision and inspiration to actualize their goals. This event is open to all Community Foundation donors, their families and their advisors.

For Private Foundations
Sharna will facilitate a conversation on family values and how they drive personal and philanthropic decisions. Attendees will leave with tools they can use to strengthen communication and engagement with family members of all generations. This event is open to trustees and directors from private family foundations.
