Hurricane Relief: How to Help Now

Leaving thousands stranded, the damage left by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria will require years of long-term recovery efforts.

Support Community Foundations in Affected Areas 

Greater Houston Community Foundation
Mayor Sylvester Turner established the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund at the Greater Houston Community Foundation. Here are instructions on how to donate.

The Miami Foundation
Irma Caribbean Strong Relief Fund will support relief efforts in Caribbean island nations and territories. Click here to learn more about relief efforts and make a donation. Visit Florida Philanthropic Network's website for a list of other community foundations in the area that are working to identify and distribute funds to areas in need.

Puerto Rico Community Foundation 
The Puerto Rico Community Recovery Fund is collaborating with community partners who are actively working with the most vulnerable populations. Learn more about the fund and how you can donate.  

Here in Kansas City, Heart to Heart International is providing medicine, medical care and humanitarian aid in Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico and beyond. They plan to keep their teams on the ground as long as they are needed. Learn more about their hurricane response.
