breiby@growyourgiving.orgIndividual & Family Giving

Ann Harbin works as the Senior Study Director at International Agriculture Research Inc. and has traveled around the world with her work, opening her eyes to many opportunities to give back.

Ann and her husband Don are passionate about making education attainable and accessible. They choose to use their donor-advised fund to help support the education of students in Kansas City and young women in Haiti.

Not only is Ann devoted to making education attainable and accessible to all, she is a big believer in supporting nonprofit organizations with gifts of both financial resources and volunteer time and finds immense joy in walking alongside nonprofits making a difference in the community. Ann serves on the Board of Directors for Community LINC, an organization focused on ending homelessness in Kansas City.

Ann’s passion for helping others is evident in the way a smile spreads across her face when she talks about her favorite charities. Pat Macdonald, Senior Philanthropic Advisor at the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, sat down with Ann on the Grow Your Giving podcast to learn more.
